In the midst of the 1990 Savings and Loan crisis, Susan graduated from UC Berkeley with double degrees in History of Art and English Literature. Undaunted by the bleak macro-economic outlook for real estate at the time, she immediately got her agent’s license, and in 1996 she earned her broker’s license - with some vague notion that it might prove fruitful later in life. 

She started her career with Summerhill Homes, working on multi-family residential construction projects around the Bay Area, and then, drawn by the lure of working in San Francisco, Susan joined Starboard Commercial Brokerage where she worked in office leasing for over a decade.

After raising her children, life brought her to beautiful Orange County in 2011. She worked solo in the residential market before having the good fortune to meet Jen in 2018. Their mutual respect and like-minded approach to their work brought them to a partnership in 2020, and their efforts together are proving greater than the sum of their parts.

In her few cherished free hours, she loves to spend time at the beach with her husband, Dean, her two daughters, Katie and Tess, and their Golden Retriever, Rocco. She has a curious passion for Austrian Economic Theory and the precious metals and commodities markets, but when her brain needs a rest from both real estate and monetary theory, she turns to CrossFit, gardening, her collection of orchids, and chocolate (thus, the CrossFit). In life she does her best to cultivate an Attitude of Gratitude for everything - her family, her work, our military, and our first responders.

Jen is a Real Estate Consultant (CA) & Broker Associate (FL) for Pacific Pointe Properties.  She is also an Interior Designer & Home Stager and excels at transforming "ok" houses to beautiful homes her clients love!  Jen creates a truly end-to-end experience for her clients by finding and creating spaces that buyers love and helping sellers realize their home's maximum potential.


Prior to entering the world of Real Estate & Design, Jen spent 20 years in various leadership roles in the corporate world.  While she achieved much success in these roles, she was still not entirely fulfilled, which is when she decided to take all of her education & experience, and help homeowners fulfill their dream of home ownership and live the lifestyle they always envisioned.


When Jen is not helping her clients, she can be found spending time with her husband, Chris, and her three children, typically traveling, attending a sporting event or entertaining family & friends.  She considers herself a life-long learner and "professional student", which is why you will always find her reading, listening to podcasts or enrolling in new classes in her free time.

Loyalty

We will never leave your side throughout what is likely the most important transaction of your life.  In California, "dual agency" is legal... and in Florida, they allow (and presume) a form of representation called "Transaction Brokerage"... both of these forms of representation mean that your agent is "allowed" to manage both sides of your transaction, which means you don't get the benefit of 100% loyalty from your agent.  We never do this!  Our commitment is that we will never represent the seller and the buyer in the same transaction, ever!

Integrity

We absolutely believe that having integrity is the cornerstone in providing world-class service to our clients.  This process is about YOU, our clients; not us.  If "it" isn't the right thing for our clients, we don't do it, period.

Relationships

This is a "relationship business".  We believe you cannot create positive & productive relationships without trust, not only between our clients and us but also with our peers & colleagues with whom we work.  We believe that there is a way to find the "win/win" for all parties of a transaction, and we work hard to find it!

If you were in a million-dollar lawsuit, would you ever consider asking the attorney of the party who is suing you to represent you, too? Absurd, right? But it happens every day in the real estate industry, to the detriment of both parties.

Our commitment to you is that we will never act as dual agents: we will never leave your side of the negotiating table - ever. When you hire us, we see your interests through to the close of escrow. Yes, we could make a lot more money if we compromised on this policy, but we believe that when our clients hire us, we work for them and no one else.
